Peer2Park (KTF Brokerage FZCO) – Legal Documents Privacy Policy
Scope: KTF Brokerage FZCO, trading as Peer2ParkDubai (“Peer2Park”, “we”, “us”), respects your privacy and complies with UAE data protection laws (including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Personal Data Protection Law, or PDPL) and relevant regulations. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using our Site or services, you consent to the practices described below.
Data We Collect: We collect personal information that you provide to us and technical data as follows:
• Account and Profile Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and any other contact details you provide.
• Parking Listings: If you post a parking ad, we collect details you enter, such as address or geolocation of the parking spot, descriptions, photos of the space, rental prices, and availability.
• Payment Information: If you pay to post a listing or book a reservation, we collect your payment details only to the extent necessary to process the transaction (via Stripe or other PCI-compliant processors). We do not store your raw credit card number; such details are handled securely by the payment provider.
• Usage Data: We log technical data such as your IP address, device/browser type, and access times for security and analytics purposes.
• Cookies and Similar Technology: We use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies (via Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.) to keep you logged in, personalize your experience, and gather usage statistics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Use of Data: We use your information to:
• Provide and maintain the Services: Create and manage your account, post and display your listings, and facilitate communication (e.g. email notifications about messages or booking requests).
• Process payments and prevent fraud: Complete transactions for paid services (listing fees) and detect or prevent fraudulent activity.
• Improve our platform: Analyze usage and performance to improve functionality, features, and user experience.
• Communicate with you: Respond to your inquiries, send important updates (such as policy changes), and, with your consent, send marketing messages. We do not use your personal data for direct marketing without your express consent, in compliance with UAE law which prohibits using consumer data for marketing without permission. We will only contact you for promotional purposes if you have opted in to receive such communications.
Data Sharing and Disclosure: We may share your information in the following ways:
• Service Providers: With third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform. This includes payment processors (e.g. Stripe), hosting providers (e.g. Google Firebase), email/SMS providers, and map services (e.g. Google Maps). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to deliver the services they provide. For example, if you enter a parking address, it may be sent to Google Maps under Google’s privacy policy to generate a map location.
• Legal Requirements: When required by UAE law, court order, or government authorities. We will only disclose personal data if legally compelled or to protect our rights.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the company, user data may be transferred to the new owner, subject to this Privacy Policy or the new owner’s privacy practices.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for any purpose.
Legal Basis for Processing: Under the PDPL, we process your personal data on lawful grounds such as: performance of a contract (providing the parking marketplace), legal compliance (e.g. record- keeping), and our legitimate interests (improving the Service, fraud prevention). We obtain your explicit consent for any processing not covered by these bases (for example, if we ever use sensitive data or for marketing). If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, without affecting data processed prior to withdrawal.
Your Data Rights: Under the PDPL, you have rights similar to those in the EU’s GDPR. You may request to access your personal data that we hold, correct any inaccuracies, or erase (delete) your data in certain situations (for example, if it is no longer needed). You can also request to restrict or object to processing, especially if we have no legitimate reason to continue. Additionally, you have the right to data portability – to receive your data in a structured format and have it transferred to another service provider. To exercise these rights, please contact us (using the details below). We will respond to such requests in accordance with UAE law. If you are an EU resident, your data will be handled in accordance with applicable EU data protection standards as well.
Cross-Border Transfers: Our infrastructure and partners may store or process data outside the UAE (for example, Stripe servers or cloud hosting abroad). The PDPL permits transferring data abroad only if the destination has adequate data protection or with appropriate safeguards (such as data transfer agreements). We will only transfer your personal data internationally in compliance with PDPL requirements, including obtaining your consent or ensuring adequate protection (for example, using standard contractual clauses or relying on adequacy decisions when available).
Data Security: We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. For example, we use SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and store data on secure servers with access controls. Payment information is encrypted and handled only by our payment processor (which is PCI-compliant). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. You acknowledge that data security cannot be guaranteed absolutely, and while we strive to safeguard your information, you provide it at your own risk.
Children’s Privacy: Our Services are not directed to children under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from anyone under 18, we will delete it immediately.
Data Retention: We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above. For example, information related to transactions and payments may be kept for up to 5 years to comply with UAE tax and accounting laws. When data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
Policy Updates: We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the revised date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Site after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
Contact: If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your data rights (access, correction, deletion, etc.), please contact us at contact@peer2parkdubai.com or via the support form on our website. We will respond to your inquiries in accordance with applicable law.
Disclaimer

It does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. You should not rely on any content without obtaining appropriate professional guidance for your specific situation.
No Guarantees: Peer2Park makes no representations or warranties about any parking service or space. Listings on the Site are posted by independent users and have not been verified or endorsed by us. We do not guarantee that any parking space is available, suitable, or compliant with any legal or safety standard. You must conduct your own due diligence (e.g. confirm access rights, pricing, and any restrictions) before using a listed parking space.
Limitations of Liability: Peer2ParkDubai expressly disclaims all liability for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the Site or any transactions arranged through it. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (such as lost profits, lost data, or personal injury) arising out of your use of the service or your interactions with other users. For example, we are not responsible if a parking reservation you make fails to materialize, if a space is inaccessible, or if there is a dispute with a parking owner. Your use of the Site and reliance on its content is entirely at your own risk.
Third-Party Services: We may incorporate or link to third-party services (for example, Stripe for payments or Google Maps for directions). Such services are provided for your convenience, but Peer2Park does not control or endorse them. Your use of any third-party service is subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Peer2Park makes no representation or warranty about the reliability, security, or privacy of these services. Any transaction or data exchange with a third-party (for example, entering payment details on Stripe) is solely between you and that provider and is governed by their terms. You link to any third-party service at your own risk.
Your Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for verifying all information and making their own arrangements. This includes confirming that any parking spot is legally available for rent, that payment terms are clear, and that any access instructions are valid. Each user “takes the parking space as is” and must comply with any local rules or private agreements (such as building access policies). Peer2Park is not a party to any contract between parking providers and renters, and we will not mediate any disputes or vouch for the suitability of a spot. You understand and accept that you assume all risks related to using the platform and booking parking, including the risk of breach of law or contract by other users.
No Warranties: The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied (including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement). We do not guarantee that the Site will always be up-to- date or error-free. Indemnification: To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peer2ParkDubai and KTF Brokerage FZCO, along with their officers, employees, and affiliates, from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your breach of these terms or any of our policies, or your violation of any third-party rights. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense of any claim subject to indemnification by you.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Disclaimer and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by the laws of the UAE (including IFZA regulations) and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. You agree that any action arising hereunder will be brought only in those courts or, if applicable, by arbitration in Dubai under UAE law.
This Disclaimer is designed to protect both you and us. If any term of this Disclaimer conflicts with a mandatory provision of UAE law, that mandatory law will govern to the extent necessary.
